Will the spray tan come off on my clothes

by Rebecca
(Rochester)

Question: Will the spray tan rub off on my clothes and stain them?

Answer: The biggest risk of staining is when the spray tan is fresh so that is why you are advised to wear dark, loose clothing after you've had your spray tan.

Next day, after you've had your shower and the bronzer got washed off the risk is much smaller, however there can be a little bit of staining. It washes off from most of the fabrics however it can stain fibers such as nylon, silk and satin.

Since a lot of lingerie is made of those fabrics make sure that you don't wear your best white bra for couple of days after spray tanning. Some solution gets stuck in your pores and it takes about 2 days to actually wash it out.
