Will sunbathing witg tanning oil ruin my spray tan?

Question: The man at the salon said sunbathing would enhance my spray tan, but from what I've read and gathered oil woul cause my tan to easily rub off. Could you please help me out?

Answer: Artificial oils such as baby oil tends to take the tan off. Natural oils are much gentler on your tan. However, the best way to go about it is to use a low grade sun screen 15+ and not to stay in the sun longer that 30 minutes (avoid 10am-2pm period).
