Will spray tan effect SCABS?

by JESS
(STROUDSBURG)

Question: I HAVE SCABS ON MY LEGS HOW WILL THE SPRAY TAN AFFECT THEM

Answer: Spray tan will make scabs much darker.

You can avoid it by putting a thick layer of barrier cream on them before you spray tan. After spray tan make sure that you very carefully remove the cream without spreading it on the rest of your skin, or it will mess up your tan.

When the scabs will start to come off, you will have very white skin underneath which will really show against your tanned skin.

Dip a q-tip in a self tanning lotion, wipe the excess off and then dab gently on the new, white skin. That will blend it in better with your tan.

Do not do it if the skin is still red and angry, it needs to heal first. So, do not pick at the scabs, keep them on till they are ready to fall off, and then you will have healthy skin underneath than you can apply self tanning lotion to.
