Will rain ruin my spray tan?

Question: I am getting a spray tan on wednesday and never have got one before, i am then going camping friday through monday and it is suppose to rain saturday through monday, is this going to ruin my spray tan and make it look all discolored?

Answer: Once you've had your shower about 8-12 hours after spray tanning, the tan is pretty much set and rain will not affect it much. You will probably get more damage from carrying a backpack and wearing runners than from the rain. Take with you some tan extender - which is just one of those creams that builds up a tan slowly and after a shower moisturize with it every day. It will give your tan a boost and repair any minor damage, so you probably will be able to keep your tan in a reasonable condition throughout all the camping trip.
