Will a mystic spray tan from a booth still fade in pool water and in ocean water?

Question: I am going to the beach in 10 days and was going to have a mystic spray tan in a booth done this weekend, they said my tan shouldnt streak or fade in the pool water or in the ocean? Is this true?

Answer: Chlorinated pool will definitely affect the tan as will sea water if you go for long swims. It will shorten the life of your tan.
