white patches after spray tanning

Answer: It could be any number of things from your soap before or after spray tanning, your skin's reaction to something you ate, or stale spray tanning solution.

I suggest that you go back to the salon where you spray tanned and ask them what they think that could be. They might have had a case like that before or in the least they might offer you another spray tan at a discounted price (or maybe even free). Its worth asking.
