Question: How long after a spray tan can I shower? Is longer better and or is too long bad?
Answer: Spray tan usually develops over 5-12 hours, so you should definitely abstain from showering for at least 5 hours.
If you had a spray tan with only little bronzer in it or none at all, you can easily leave showering until the next morning, however it is not always possible if there was a lot of bronzer used because you will stain your sheets.
There is no problem if you leave showering for a longer period after spray tanning.
Your spray tan will develop only to a certain point and then stop, so no matter how long you leave showering you will not get any darker.
There is no indication that if you leave showering for a longer period it will in any way affect your health.
