I use those little pink caps from nailsavers and the ones they have specifically for toes when I spray tan. They work much better than the barrier cream.
Boshena's comment: Yes, they do and so quick and easy too. Alternatively just put clear nail polish on your toes and fingernails a day before, you can also put some under the nails, because those parts can get brown too. After your first shower you can just remove all of it with some nail polish remover and your nails will be untouched.
