Sweating after spray tan

by Magenta
(Australia)

Question: I used a spray tan a few weeks ago and it was fine but because i play soccer i had to put shinpads on and then the sweat removed all the tan and i had a white whinpad tan on my legs! I want to know if there is a way to seal the tan in so that it won't come off.

Answer: I am not sure if that will work with shinpads, but you could try using Baiden Mitten to scrub before spray tanning. I used to get white feet from joggers when I walked, but after I used Baiden Mitten as a pre spray tan exfoliating method my tan fades uniformly.

I am not sure if it will work for you as I only walk in my joggers and not exercise hard like you do.

Apart from this I can only suggest that you carry with you a small bottle of self tanner and a latex glove and after a game you put the glove on, spray a little solution into your hand and then rub like crazy into the white patches. Be careful not to overdo it, because your tan will be increasing in intensity as it develops.

Maybe not the best solution, but at least you will not be walking around with white shinpad marks after a game. Apart from that, I have not heard of anything that can effectively seal the tan against rubbing off under such extreme conditions.
