Spray tanning and tinea versicolor.

Question:
does spray tanning cover tinea versicolor?

Answer:
Often tinea has scaly appearance, that means that there are many dry spots on your skin. Those would absorb more solution and turn darker than the rest of the skin.
If the tinea is mild, spray tan will camouflage it, just like it does with acne, but it is very much to the condition of the skin how well it will blend in.

I would suggest doing a patch test on the worst affected are. You can either go to a salon and ask them to do it, or just apply some self tanner, and see how it will react with your skin.

It is a very individual thing. Sometimes it works well, other times it actually makes it look worse. You will have to find it out on your own skin :-)
