It is imp to get a patch test before a spray tan to test for allergic reactions. I'm a stylist and my son wanted a spray tan He is 6 , being at the salon with me all time, I spray tanned him. He has very sensitive skin like me and he did not break out. We just did it for fun.
Boshena's comment: I bet he looked really cute. I used to teach make up at one stage and my son sometimes would get "done up" by his sisters. He thought it was hellarious and now, at 23 he does make up for his girlfriend :-)
But back to the subject - yes, a test patch is advisable for people with sensitive skin and for those who tell you that they get a reaction with some self tanning products. I hope that most salons make their new clients fill out a questionare/disclaimer form before they start spraying them.
