Spray tan coming off in the shower.

Question: I took a shower 4 hours after my spray and the color was coming off !!! I dont know if it was the spray or what but hope i didnt waste my money ! Is this normal!

Answer: What is coming off is just a bronzer which most spray tanning solutions have. It is put into the solution to give you an instant gratification and to help spray tanning technician see which places have been sprayed, and which still need to be done. After showering what is left is the tan that your skin has developed underneeth. It should be about 1/2 of what you had before showering.
The first time that happened to me I was convinced that I was bleeding to death for some reason and then felt awfully pale, but that is just an illusion.

However, I am a bit concerned that you might have taken the shower a bit too early. Usually the time from spray tan to shower should be at least 5 hours to get the tan to developed fully. A lot of technicians even recommend keeping the tan on overnight and shower next morning. However, it does depend on the solution, some mature quicker than others. The person that sprayed you should have told you when you can have your shower, and if you followed her directions you should, by now have a lovely tan.
