showering before spray tan

Question: Would you recommend showering before and removing all makeup to avoid streaks or an uneven color?

Answer: Yes, it is a good idea to shower, but not immediately before spray tan. Your body has to be very dry, so if you take a shower beforehand, make it a short one and give yourself at least half an hour before you go for a spray tan.

It is a good idea to exfoliate very thoroughly, but do it on the evening of the DAY BEFORE.

You do not want the pores to be so open that the solution will go deeply into them and give you a spotty look.

So, a recap:
1) Exfoliate very well a day before spray tan
2) Have a shower on the day of spray tan, not closer than 1/2 hour beforehand.
