Removing a spray tan

by Ash
(Texas)

Question: I went to get a spray tan the other day so I could be tan for my prom and now I'm orange with random dark and light spots on me. I would much rather remove the whole tan then just get a touch up. Also it makes me slightly itchy.

Answer: If it makes you itchy, than it is a wrong solution for your skin. Next time try a different brand solution, it might be OK.

To get rid of fresh spray tan off the whole body is a bit tricky, a trip to a public pool for a long soak in chlorinated water would bleach it pretty well, but I am not sure if that is an option for you.

Generally, a good soak in a bubble bath and then a scrub would take a lot of it off, but you have to be carefull so it does not come off in patches.
For brown patches - a dab of hydrogen peroxide would also bleach it.

Good luck with it all.
