Prom spray tanning

Question: i have pale skin and really light hair. im going to my school prom and im unsure of having one done. im scared that i will look stupid with 'orangy' skin with a light coloured dress and nearly white hair.
do salons do different colour spray tans for different colour skin because i would much rather look natural then being bright orange and looking stupid.?
