Peeling and wanting a spray tan

Question: I began to peel about a week ago, and I have a Quincera to go to in four days. I am peeling from my shoulders to my back, to my chest. The peeling has gone down some, but now i have resulted in uneven skin tones. I was considering getting a spray tan to even them out. Is this a good idea, or will the spray tan make the color difference more noticable?

Answer: It depends on how big is the color difference between the dark and light patches. If the difference is small, the spray tan will blend the different shades nicely, but if the difference is big, it would be a better idea to get some self tanning product, put a small amount of it on a q-tip or a small brush and get a friend to color in your white patches. That way it will look more even.
