Nursing after spray tanning

Question: Is it safe to breastfeed your baby after a spray tan? Does the DHA harm them?

Answer: DHA which is the tanning component in spray tanning solution only affects the top, dead layer of skin, so it should be OK.
However, I would advise that you spray tan in a bikini top, as when the baby breastfeeds, the tan around your nipples wears out really quickly, so it looks really stupid having white circles around your nipples. Also, if you can avoid it, there is no need for any of the tan to finish in your baby, even though it is harmless.
