New spray tan over old spray tan.

by Anne Marie Francis
(Canada)

Question:I had a booth tan a few days ago, but I need another tan over this one and I decided to go to an individual who does spray tans, so what I'm wondering is, do I need too exfoliate to get rid of the previous tan or will I just shower and have the spray tan over the original tan?

Answer: It is best to exfoliatie lightly, not to get rid of the old tan, but to remove skin cells that are ready to be shed.

If you don't do it, your new tan can start coming off in patches not because something would be wrong with it, but because your body would be discarding skin cells that have outlived their use by date taking the new tan with them.
