Moisturizing lotion before spray tan?

Question: Can you do a spray tan although you have used skin lotion hours before?


Answer: You can, and I had many great spray tans with moisturizers and even make up on.
However, every now and again you will come across a skin lotion that contains some ingredients (like oil) that will mess with the spray tanning solution.

That can result in a patchy tan.

The question is - do you want to risk it? And if you do and it DOES come out patchy, don't complain to the salon.
