Make-up and spray tanning

Question: Should I remove all of my make-up before a spray tan? If so should I skip the face lotion?

Answer: Yes, all make up should be off, and also you should not use any skin lotion.

I have had few successfull spray tans with make up on, but also couple which did not come out great. You never know which one will stuff up your spray tan, so it is not worth the risk.

Lotions contain moisturizers, which is usually another name for "oil" so they are not advisable to apply before spray tanning as they can stop the spray tanning solution getting through to your skin.
