lotion after spray tan

Question: can i use lotion after my spray tan...like will it ruin it? the smell is kind of gross and i want to cover it up with a scented lotion.

Answer: If the lotion has any water content you will ruin the tan, and some oil based ones also strip the tan at this early stage. The only lotion that I would recommend at the stage when the tan is developing is the one being sold in the salon that is specifically designed for use with spray tans.

Otherwise just get used to smelling gross after spray tanning.
