I brought a fake tan spray the tan now is fading but in patches. I'm starting to get white dots over my body and patchy skin tone. Looks like skin pigmentation.
Yes, it sometimes happens even to seasoned spray tanners. It could be something to do with the product (like it might contain moisturizer that contained some oily substance), or it could have something to do with your skin. Skin secretes its own moisturizer and sometimes, for some strange reason might produce too much of the oil and in uneven patches. It tends to spoil your tan, but it is possible that next time, using the same product you might get a perfect tan.

I too have little white bleach looking spots all over my chest area! after the tan faded the spots stayed! I am trying to figure why? and how to rid them they are gly and unsightly!
Seems like it is a more common problem than I thought. Try exfoliating really well, if that was something in the solution that bleached your skin than exfoliation should help.

Boshena's comment: HUH? I have absolutely no idea what it could be, I have never come accross this problem and have never heard of it.
I would suggest going to the salon where you had your spray tan done, maybe they know what it is?
