Is it safe to use Baiden Mitten if I have psoriasis?

by Rebecca
(Vacaville, Ca)

Question: I have psoriasis but it is a mild case. I have been getting a laser treatment to treat the small spots that are spread throughout my body for the last 9 months. One of the side effects from the laser treatment is the day of the treatment up to a couple days later it will seem like a bad sunburn on the spots treated. Then from there it leaves hyper pigmentation spots, which is more prone to people with tanner skin. Will using the Baiden Mitten worsen my condition and if not is it safe to use on my skin since I do have psoriasis? Also will it help with the hyper pigmentation? For example help them fade quicker?

Answer: I have no idea how it reacts with proriasis, but if you are allowed to exfoliate when you have proriasis, it should be OK to use Baiden Mitten.
For myself I know for sure that it takes care of most dry skin problems, but not all. I still have to use heavy moisturizer after I exfoliate with Baiden Mitten, but that is pretty much everything that I do for my skin these days. Between Baiden Mitten and moisturizing, I do not use anything else at all.

When it comes to hyperpigmentation I know for sure that it helps, since I had some liver spots that I had forever and after couple of months of use of Baiden Mitten they are about 1/4 of the size they were before and much lighter. Also some mosquito bite red marks have gone away. So I believe that it helps with those things.

The only thing with laser is - you have to wait 4 weeks before you use Baiden Mitten on the spots. That is to make sure that the whole process of healing is completed before you subject the skin to more work.
