Is it safe to spray tan if I have a sunburn?

Question: I have a sunburn, and am going spray tanning tomorrow. Will having a sunburn mess up my spray tan in any way, and is it bad for my skin?

Answer: Yes, it is safe to spray tan, and a lot of solutions are alovera based (not all), so it should give you some relief from the pain of sunburn and depending on how bad your sunburn is, it could even stop you peeling.

However, if you do peel, your spray tan will be gone together with your skin.

Make sure you don't do it again! The best way it is to spray tan first and then stay in the shade. You will still tan, but slowly and safely.
