How to remove spray tan solution from nails

Question: How can I remove spray tan solution from my toenails? I used barrier cream but maybe not enough. Could've been from the booth or the touch up spray I bought. The stains are sort of set in at this point because I didn't know what to use when I first noticed it. Acetone will not budge it, any ideas?

Answer: Bad news. It is pretty much set. All you can do now is put some neutral colored nail polish on your nails until they grow out.

Incidentally if you want to avoid your nails turning darker next time, put clear nail polish on them before you spray tan. That will protect them from the spray tanning solution.
