Answer: Most spray tans take about 5-6 hours, but if the solution contained erithrulose, your spray tan will keep developing for up to 48 hours after spray tanning, even if you have had a shower during that time.

There are now also spray tans that take only 1 hour to develop, but they generally do not last as long as the "regular" spray tans.
