Question: I heard someone say that after you get spray tanned, it rubs off easy, is this true? How long does it take to dry?


Answer: Yes, that is true that it takes about 1 hour for a spray tan to set. During that first hour it is very easy for a tan to get rubbed off that is why it is recommended that you wear dark, loose clothing and open shoes for that period at least.
Once the spray tan is set, you still should not shower or get wet for at least another 5-7 hours, but the tan has pretty much developed already, so you can relax samewhat.
