Answer: The longer you leave it, the better the tan so, if you can leave it overnight thats the best.

However, the recommended time is usually about 5-8 hours. Ask at the salon where you spray tan, because different spray tanning solutions have different developing periods and for some you might be OK to have a shower after 5 hours, for others it is better to wait 12.
