Height of effectiveness of spray tan.

Question: You state in your FAQ section that a spray tan will last between 5-10 days. Obviously there is developing time (5-8 hrs) and a fade out (1-2days?), so when is the best time to get the spray tan done before an event? The day before, 2 days before??

Answer: It used to be the next day, but the new designer tans containing Erythrulose take up to 48 hours to develop, consequently the second day after spray tanning is when the tan will have the fullest intensity.

It is the best to ask at the salon where you will be getting your tan, because it depends on the solution ingredients and also on the depth of the tan.
Different salons use different solutions, so they should be the best people to advise you.
