Exfoliation & Spray Tan

Question: I was just wondering if there is a window between the time you exfoliate and the time of the spray tan? I'm planning on exfoliating before I get the spray tan but I have to do a few things before I'm able to go to the salon. Will my spray tan still turn out if I wait an hour or two between the time I exfoliate and tan?

Answer: The best time to exfoliate is actually a night before spray tan. That way any skin irritations are over and pores have also had a chance to close. It is also the best time to shave or wax for the same reason.
