Don't want face tanned

The salon says that I have to spray tan my face but I don't want my face or neck tanned. Can I wash it off immediately after the treatment and will it be okay?

I don't know why you could not wash it off. I would use something like baby wipes, because if you get some water on your body, you will look like a panther with spots.

However, I really do not see purpose in it, because due to use of cosmetics and taking them off in the evening, your face will generally get lighter much quicker than the rest of the body, plus you will avoid the tide marks where you washed your tan off.

If you do finish with those, remember that some tan extender, which contains only very small amounts of the tanning solution will blend them in...
