Question: Do spray tans come off in the ocean?

Answer: Sea water is not nearly as bad as a chlorinated water in the pools, but still it will affect your spray tan if you stay long in the surf. That is because any water softens your skin and makes it easier to exfoliate it's top layer, thus leading to your tan coming off faster.

If you have short swims and not roll in the sand too much your spray tan should be fine.
