Can I get a tattoo while wearing spray tan?

Question: Okay, so I'm going on holidays to Spain for eleven days in July, and I don't tan in the sun. I just burn. So I was gonna get a spray tan. But, I'm supposed to be getting a tattoo while on holidays and I was wondering if it was okay to get a tattoo while wearing spray tan.

Answer: Theoretically, it should be, however I would advise against it, because if your skin is white the tattoo artist will be forced to be more attentive to details. On brown skin sharpness of details is not as important, so he/she could get a little slack and not worry about minor imperfections. However, once you lose your tan they could be really apparent.

If I was getting a tattoo, which is a permenent thing, I would really want to make sure that I am getting the best work possible. I might be a bit too careful, but if I was going to wear it for the rest of my life, I would make really sure it was perfect :-)
