Question: when you get a spray tan with bronzer in it is it normal for it when you go in the shower to wash it off after recommended time for your tan to be lighter than the bronzer (guide colour).

Answer: Yes, it is perfectly normal. The bronzer is in the solution only for the purpose of giving the spray tanning technician an indication of where they have spray tanned already and which places they still have to do. Apart from that it really has no function.

Your spray tan develops underneath the bronzer and your tan will be getting darker as the day progresses sometimes getting scary and orange. So, the fact that the bronzer washes off is a good thing and you should be left with a lighter, natural color.
