Before Your Spray Tan Application

Before you get sprayed, shave & exfoliate at least 4 hours before your appointment. This allows your skin cells to lay down & absorb solution much better.

Avoid using any lotion, especially with Mineral Oil & Petroleum products,before or after application. For example: you use baby oil on babies, so urine doesn't soak into skin,hints it forms a barrier on the skin. So does your lotions if they have mineral oil or petroleum, it prevents the skin from getting the best moisture.

Boshena's comment: That is a good tip. I actually like to shave and exfoliate a night before, so the pores have a good chance of closing properly. Otherwise, if the spray tanning solution has a lot of bronzer in it it will get into your pores and you can get "spotty" look.
