About Safe Tan - safe sunless tan solution.

When I was first introduced to Safe Tan (safe sunless tan solution) back in 2003, I must admit that at first I really didn't pay too much attention...

Having done my 'teen' stint back in the 1970's with the whole sun-baking bit, followed up by a short experimentation with solariums in my early 20's, I felt confident that I'd finally wised up to the health risks associated with tanning. I was also very much aware of the type of harmful chemicals which a large majority of cosmetics contain, and was simply not prepared to trade my health for beauty or appearance.

In the 20+ years my husband and I have been in business, we've never promoted products we don't personally use or believe in. So when a business associate introduced us to Safe Tan as a potential product to promote, we almost dismissed it on the assumption it would be a similar product to most others - unsafe or harmful to health. And if we weren't prepared to use it ourselves, our personal and business ethics wouldn't allow us to recommend it to anyone else.

However having known our associate for many years and trusting his initial rave reviews of the product, we knew we at least had to investigate a little further and do our own research.

And what a wise decision that turned out to be!

It didn't take long to realize that Safe Tan really is a self-tanner in its own class - not only in respect of its safety and health aspects, but also in its ease of application and the results!

In all the years I've been using Safe Tan, I've never had 'anyone' guess I have a fake tan (even close girlfriends have been taken aback when they've commented on my tan, and I've openly told them it's 'fake'). In fact, although I love many things about the product, one of the best things is the colour and how natural it feels on my skin (that is, it doesn't feel at all like something 'on' my skin, it just feels 'like' my skin...!)


Based on our own experience, and the input of experts in the beauty / cosmetic industry who verified the uniqueness and credibility of Safe Tan, we were more than confident to take on marketing and distributorship of the product. We haven’t looked back since.
