Book your New Year's Eve Party Spray Tan Now.
December 26, 2009
Hi,

Remember to book your New Year's Party Spray Tan Now!

How was your Christmas celebrations? Did you put on your mandatory 5 kg? I know that I did. Even after having 18 people for Christmas dinner I still have so many leftovers that I expect that I will be turning them into meat pies and pasta sauces for another week!

Now that Christmas is over it is time to remember that New Year's parties are just around the corner. If you have not booked your spray tan yet you might have left it too late! In my salon I used to be booked out before New Year for a month in advance.

If you cannot get a booking do not despair. You can do a great job yourself with a self tanner. The best time to get your fake tan on is 2 days in advance, so that you give your tan a chance to develop fully and also take care of any problems. If you are doing your own fake tan, it is a good idea to ask a friend over to do each other's back, especially if you are planning to wear a halter neck dress. Patchy back is not the best look for those.

For those of you who live in a cold climate, it is best to get a light spray tan. Dark tans at this time of the year look really fake, you will not fool anybody into believing that you just came back from Barbados. Put emphasis on your dress, make up and hair instead.

If you live in Australia like I do, or any other country where we have summer right now, you can go much darker, as most people have some sort of sun tan already, so you will not stick out like a sore thumb if you are also dark.

Remember to exfoliate and shave or wax a day before spray or self tan and arm yourself with tan extending lotion to keep your tan moisturized and in best condition.

Above all - have fun and don't worry about minor imperfections. The lights are going to be dimmed wherever you go, so your tan will look perfect.

Have a Happy New Year Everybody
